Who am I?
I was born in China. My laboratory life started from college when I learned molecular and cellular experiments. As a Master graduate, I learned next-generation sequencing methods and started genomics research that espencially focused on the field of epigenetics. The bio-data explosion prompted me to learn bioinformatics and expand my research into psychiatric genetics during my PhD stages. The scientific experience pointed my direction to use genomics to decipher the mechanisms of biology and disease.
I am currently a postdoc researcher at UCSanDiego. My study focuses on neuroscience now. Through postdoctoral training, I expect to improve my bioinformatics skills at systems biology, enhance my ability to conduct scientific research independently, and clarify futher research issues and directions. My goal is to become an excellent scientific researcher in the future.
